Після кількох невдалих спроб Le Monde все-таки стала жертвою хакерської атаки «Сирійської електронної армії». У ніч із учора на сьогодні, 21 січня, зловмисники зламали твіттер-аккаунт газети.

Як повідомляє Le Monde, на світанку у профілі газети було розміщене пропагандистські повідомлення. «Тут була Сирійська електронна армія», -  мовилося у в одному з них. Крім цього, хакери опублікували зображення із написом «Je ne suis pas Charlie» (Я не Шарлі),пише Media Sapiens

 

Потім хакерська група опублікувала повідомлення про атаку на Le Monde у своєму власному твіттер-аккаунті.

Через деякий час редакція повернула собі контроль над профілем у сервісі мікроблогів.

Le Monde нагадує, що цей злам відбувся після серії інших хакерських атак, в тому числі DDoS, від яких видання потерпає останніми днями. Цими вихідними хакерам вдалося зламати електронну пошту кількох представників редакції. У понеділок зловмисники отримали доступ до внутрішньо редакційної системи, проте без можливості публікувати контент на сайті.
