Інформаційне повідомлення під назвою «Росія починає постачання електроенергії і вугілля в Україну», яка пізно ввечері 26 грудня з’явилася на сайті Мінрегіону України, є наслідком втручання в роботу сайту міністерства ззовні. Про це повідомила керівник Відділу взаємодії із засобами масової інформації та громадськістю Мінрегіону Надія Петруняк.

«Очевидно, що сайт Мінрегіону зламали невідомі. Прес-служба міністерства не публікувала такої інформації ні від свого імені, ні від імені інших прес-служб та осіб. Ми звертаємося до засобів масової інформації не використовувати це фейкове повідомлення на своїх інформаційних ресурсах», - сказала Надія Петруняк.

Мінрегіон не володіє та не поширює інформацію щодо постачання енергоресурсів в Україну з інших країн, оскільки дане питання у сфері компетенції іншого міністерства.
