Хакери обурилися обманом ресурсу - видалення анкети із сайту коштує 19 доларів, але після оплати ресурс зберігає відомості про банківську карту клієнта, його справжнє ім'я та адресу.

Хакери вимагають, щоб компанія Avid Life Media, яка керує сервісом, закрила ресурс. Якщо цю вимогу не реалізують, хакери викладуть дані про всіх користувачів.

На сайті AshleyMadison розміщено 37 мільйонів анкет.
