В Канаде несколько правительственных сайтов подтверглись хакерской атаке.

Взлому подверглись сайт правительства и ресурс канадской службы безопасности и разведки. Министр общественной безопасности Стивен Блейни осудил кибератаку. Он подчеркнул, что у канадцев существует масса демократических способов выражения своей позиции,пишет ВВС

Ответственность взяла на себя группа Anonymous, члены которой объяснили атаку принятием в Канаде антитеррористического закона, который, считают хакеры, нарушает права человека. Этот закон расширяет полномочия службы безопасности и разведки, позволяя усилить наблюдение за частными лицами.

Хакеры Anonymous неоднократно взламывали правительственные сайты во многих странах, в том числе комиссии США по приговорам, а аткже "Твиттер" Ку-клукс-клана.
