Роскомнадзор запустил систему автоматического сбора и анализа контента в интернет-СМИ в 19 регионах России. Об этом сообщает газета «Известия» со ссылкой на главу ведомства Александра Жарова.

Издание отмечает, что с помощью этого нововведения отслеживаются противозаконные материалы на сайтах различных новостных изданий.

«К концу 2016 года проект будет полностью завершен. Информация на сегодняшний день идет из 19 регионов. Количество выявленных нарушений увеличилось минимум вдвое», — приводит издание словам Жарова.

Он отметил, что нарушителей стараются не наказывать, так как система новая. По его словам, Роскомнадзор вместе этого призывает устранить недоработки и нарушения. По мнению Жарова, это «приведет к улучшению качества всех СМИ на всей территории России».

Ранее Александр Жаров сообщал, что Роскомнадзор с середины февраля 2016 года начнет проверки в компаниях, работающих в сфере СМИ, на предмет их соответствия закону «О СМИ».
