Хиллари Клинтон вступила в предвыборную гонку на пост президента США, передает Associated Press. Клинтон начала свою кампанию с видео, в котором заявила, что "Америка ежедневно нуждается в чемпионах", и именно она намерена стать чемпионом.

Теперь Клинтон намерена отправиться в Айову и Нью-Гемпшир, чтобы встретить со своими избирателями. В штабе Клинтон также подтвердили ее официальное выдвижение. Напомним, президент США Барак Обама заявил, что представитель Демократической партии Хиллари Клинтон стала бы "отличным президентом".

Об этом Обама заявил на пресс-конференции в Панаме после завершения там "саммита Америк".

"Я считаю, что Хиллари Клинтон станет прекрасным президентом. Она мой друг", - заявил Обама. 

Клинтон стала третьим кандидатом на пост, двое других - сенаторы-республиканцы Рэнд Пол и Тед Крус (Rand Paul, Ted Cruz).

В 2008 году она проиграла Обаме в борьбе за номинацию в качестве кандидата. По оценкам политологов, сейчас в рядах Демократической партии серьезных соперников у нее нет.
