Кандидат у президенти США від Демократичної партії, екс-держсекретар США Хілларі Клінтон опублікувала заяву в підтримку українського народу і Надії Савченко, а також закликала до її негайного звільнення.
 

У заяві Клінтон підкреслює, що вона приєднується до голосів, що сьогодні звучать по всьому світу, закликаючи негайно звільнити українського політика і офіцера ВПС України з нелегального ув'язнення в Росії, передає ТСН.

Вона також підкреслює, що Надія була захоплена проросійськими бойовиками в Східній Україні, нелегально перевезли в Росію і утримується на основі сфабрикованих звинувачень.

"Росія повинна відкинути всі звинувачення і негайно її звільнити. Вона також повинна виконати всі зобов'язання згідно з Мінськими домовленостями для припинення конфлікту в Східній Україні, через який загинули тисячі людей, а понад півтора мільйона були примусово переселені", - заявила кандидат у президенти США.

"Я підтримую Надію та український народ, так само як я завжди виступала за дотримання прав жінок та прав усіх людей, які страждають від несправедливості по всьому світу", - наголосила Хілларі Клінтон.
