Тихий мітинг зібрали біля Верховної ради священники та віряни Української православної церкви Московського патріархату, повідомляє ТСН.

Загалом прийшло кілька тисяч людей. На площі біля парламенту вони не вмістилися, тож мітингували і в Маріїнському парку.

Під стіни Верховної ради віряни прийшли на знак протесту проти двох законопроектів. Перший - про особливий статус релігійних організацій, керівні центри яких розташовані в країні-агресорі, а другий документ, якщо приймуть, дасть можливість громадам самостійно обирати підлеглість своєї церкви - наприклад до Московського, чи Київського патріархату.

Голосувати за обидва законопроекти парламентарі мають на вечірньому засіданні. Віряни до того часу не розходитимуться, кажуть, будуть молитися. У самому парламенті з цього питання єдності нема.
