У Європарламенті пропонують визнати на політичному рівні ведення Росією інформаційної війни проти Європи.

Про це йдеться у проекті резолюції «Стратегічні комунікації ЄС як протидія пропаганді з боку третіх сторін», повідомляє Укрінформ.

«Європарламент визнає, що Росія агресивно використовує широкий обсяг засобів та інструментів, зокрема спеціальних організацій («Русский мир»), багатомовних телевізійних каналів («Россия сегодня»), інформаційних агентств (РИА «Новости», «Спутник»)», соціальні та релігійні об'єднання (включаючи Православну церкву), соціальні медіа та інтернет-тролів, що загрожує західним цінностям, розділяє Європу, акумулює внутрішню підтримку та створює сприйняття країн Східного партнерства як таких, що не відбулися», - йдеться у документі.

Автор проекту резолюції польський депутат Анна Фотіга також наголосила, що російська стратегічна пропаганда спрямована на підрив суверенітетів країн Центральної та Східної Європи, а також вдається до фальсифікації історії.

Проект резолюції нині обговорюється у комітеті із закордонних справ та буде проголосований на пленарному засіданні Європарламенту восени.
