Іспанське видання EL ESPAÑOL називає затриманого в Барселоні Степана Черновецького – організатором угрупування з відмивання коштів.

Про це йдеться у статті, оприлюдненій EL ESPAÑOL, повідомляє "Українська правда"

"Ця операція проводилась спільно національною поліцією та Національною поліцією Каталонії. вона закінчилась також арештом голови злочинної організації Степана Черновецького, який є сином колишнього мера Києва Леоніда Черновецького", - пише видання.

Видання також зазначає, що Степан відомий своєю пристрастю до світу боксу і володіє топ-клубом цього виду спорту в Україні "Elite Boxing".

Водночас у клубі на питання "Української правди" відповіли, що нічого не знають і на жаль, жодної інформації про Степана Черновецького надати не можуть.

Видання додає, що відмивання коштів відбувалося через японський ресторан"Yubari", який розкручувався завдяки спортсменам. Затримання відбувалося саме в цьому ресторані.

Власник ресторану Армен Маїлян наразі затриманий. На думку обвинувачення, відмивання коштів відбувалося через цей ресторан, який було відкрито в жовтні 2014 року. Ресторан став відомий завдяки візитам гравців ФК "Барселона".

Угрупування звинувачують у відмиванні коштів, фальсифікації офіційних і комерційних документів.

Черновецького та його спільників звинувачують у відмиванні загалом близько 10 млн євро.

Видання El Pais також оприлюднило відео з ресторану, на якому зображений також Черновецький.
