News Literacy Project (NPL) вместе с агентством J. Walter Thompson New York создали серию принтов, призывающих людей «видеть все углы» новости и проверять надежность ее источника.

Кампания #SeeAllTheAngles знакомит общественность со странным шрифтом в виде трехмерных букв, повернутых вправо. И чтобы понять написанное, требуется более пристальное внимание.

Реклама будет транслироваться в онлайн- и оффлайн-режиме в The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, AOL, Miami Herald и пр. «Цель проекта — дать читателям паузу. Время, затрачиваемое ими на расшифровку шрифта, имитирует то количество времени, которое читатели должны уделить чтению и пониманию типичного заголовка новостей», — отметил Аарон Падин (Aaron Padin), руководитель отдела дизайна JWT New York.

Кампания включает «виртуальный класс checkology®» для преподавателей, которые потом будут учить своих студентов распознавать фейки из реальных новостей, а также приложение «Headline Maker», которое позволяет юзеру писать собственные заголовки сбоку. Шрифт и принты можно бесплатно скачать.
