Кандидат у мери Тернополя від "Блоку Петра Порошенка" Ігор Вонс не злякався погроз Авакова і використав у своїй агітації факт створення нової поліції у місті.
Про це повідомляє громадянська мережа ОПОРА. Плакат з емблемою нової поліції розміщений при вході в одному із супермаркетів Тернополя на вулиці 15 квітня.
Аналогічні матеріали із Ігорем Вонсом було зафіксовано в газетах міста та області.
Відповідно до статті 10 Закону України "Про Національну поліцію" від 2 липня 2015 року, поліція є політично нейтральною, і відповідно до частини 2, цієї ж статті, у своїй діяльності є незалежною від рішень, заяв чи позицій політичних партій та громадських об’єднань.
Нагадаємо, раніше "Блок Петра Порошенка" використав зображення поліцейських на рекламних матеріалах в Одесі та Миколаєві. Міністр внутрішніх справ Арсен Аваков доручив міліції "розібратися" з фактами використання зображень поліції у передвиборчій агітації "Блоку Петра Порошенка".
