Чинний президент Узбекистану Іслам Карімов переміг на виборах, набравши 90,39% голосів, повідомляє ЦВК Узбекистану,пише Корреспондент

"За Карімова віддали свої голоси 17,2 млн осіб, або 90,39% виборців з тих, що взяли участь в голосуванні. Відповідно до статті 35 закону "Про вибори президента Республіки Узбекистан", це дає право вважати його обраним главою держави", - заявив на брифінгу глава Центрвиборчкому Мірза-Улугбек Абдусамломов.

Зазначимо, Карімов є президентом Узбекистану з 24 березня 1990 року. Він найбільш літній глава держави серед країн колишнього СРСР.
