Розмови про продаж мережі Twitter продовжують поширюватися в медіа, але знайти покупця буде не легко.
 
 

Рада директорів компанії Twitter має намір на черговому засіданні 8 вересня обговорити можливість продажу соцмережі. Про це пише Media Sapiens з посиланням на 
Recode. Видання звертає увагу на те, що за останні місяці було чимало чуток про поглинання компанії або продаж, що кожного разу піднімало ціну акцій компанії вгору. Щоразу це давало надію інвесторам на те, що для Twitter знайдеться хороший покупець, зазначає Recode.

Також за даними видання, рада директорів незадоволена тим, що з моменту призначення співзасновника Twitter Джека Дорсі на посаду гендиректора в соцмережі не відбулося позитивних змін.

Ціна Twitter в разі продажу складе не більше $ 18 млрд. Однак за оцінками видання,  і ця сума може вважатися завищеною. Можливими претердентами на покупку Twitter є корпорація Alphabet (якій належить Google), Apple та холдинг 21st Century Fox.

Минулого місяця Twitter спростував чутки про закриття сервісу в 2017 році. «Ці заяви не мають жодного стосунку до дійсності», - написав тоді представник Twitter у відповідь на появу тега #SaveTwitter, використовуючи який юзери говорили про те, що сайт соцмережі припинить своє існування наступного року.
