Керівник Держуправління справами Адміністрації Президента Сергій Березенко спростовував свою участь у стрітрейсінгу, про що написала одна із газет.

"Cпочатку вирішив не реагувати. Адже журналістам поважного видання я чітко сказав, що не моє це: їзджу з водієм, за кермо сідаю максимум двічі на рік і, взагалі, водій я нікудишній, що і можуть підтвердити мої друзі. Тим більше жодна людина так і не змогла підтвердити мою участь у нічних перегонах", - повідомив Сергій Березенко на своїй фейсбук-сторінці. Тим не менше, за його словами, "ця брехня пішла гуляти інтернетом і по дорозі, зовсім випадково, десь загубився мій коментар".

Керівник ДУС порадив стрітрейсірам "шукати екстриму в зоні АТО". На його думку саме туди і "варто відправляти справжніх порушників".

Роботу піарників, які запустили інформацію про ніби-то його участь, разом із сином міністра внутршніх справ Арсена Авакова, у нічних перегонах посадовець назвав "примітивною". "Ну, не вдалося Вам зліпити «кулю»", - написав Сергій Березенко і порадив "перш ніж лити бруд і вкидати в інтернет брехню, вивчити «матчасть».

Окрім цього керівник ДУС порадив "горе-піарникам" гроші "отримані за таку «халтуру» витратити на фарбу, - і додаві "В зону АТО ви навряд чи поїдете, а от перефарбувати ще один міст в жовто-блакитний колір багато геройства не треба"
