Сеть фастфуд-ресторанов KFC в Австралии извинилась за свой рекламный ролик, которую местная общественная организация за гендерное равенство «Коллективный крик» («Collective Shout») нашла сексистской. Об этом пишет The Guardian.
 

Героиня рекламы — девушка в топе с глубоким декольте — позирует перед машиной с тонированными стеклами, разглядывая свое отражение с разных ракурсов. Когда стекло опускается, выясняется, что в автомобиле находится женщина с двумя сыновьями — подростки не могут отвести взгляд от раскованной прохожей.

«Это очередная поддержка позиции "мальчики остаются мальчиками". Она препятствует нашей борьбе с сексистскими идеями, которые способствуют вредоносному поведению по отношению к женщинам и девочкам», — заявили в «Коллективном крике».

В KFC в ответ извинились и подчеркнули, что не хотели поддерживать гендерные стереотипы. Хотя сеть пообещала прекратить использование этой рекламы, она по-прежнему доступна в аккаунте KFC на YouTube.
