Северокорейский диктатор Ким Чен Ын приказал казнить 340 человек с момента прихода к власти в 2011 году. Об этом говорится в докладе аналитического центра Южной Кореи "Институт стратегии национальной безопасности", передает Европейская правда со ссылкой на CNN.

В докладе говорится о том, что лидер Северной Кореи использует казни, чтобы укрепить свою власть в стране. Среди казненных - около 140 старших офицеров в правительстве страны, военных и членов правящей Рабочей партии КНДР.

Старший аналитик по вопросам обороны "Рэнд Корпорейшн" Брюс Беннетт рассказал изданию, что Ким продемонстрировал "экстремальный" уровень жестокости и беспощадности с 2011 года. "Например, за пять лет лидерства в Северной Корее он зачищал пост министра обороны пять раз, в то время как его отец менял министров обороны только три раза за 17 лет... и два раза только потому, что они умирали от старости", - сказал аналитик.

Напомним, 9 сентября Северная Корея заявила, что провела вторые за год и пятые в целом ядерные испытания, а после этого министерство обороны Южной Кореи сообщило, что Северная Корея готова в любое время провести дополнительные испытания ядерного оружия. Также власти Северной Кореи потребовали от США признать КНДР ядерной державой.

После этого Совет безопасности ООН ввел новые санкции против Северной Кореи, призванные сократить ежегодные доходы страны от экспорта более чем на четверть.
