Сьогодні, 14 травня, Київрада прийняла рішення, відповідно до якого на будівлях та спорудах, які належать до комунальної власності територіальної громади столиці, буде демонтовано комуністичну символіку.

За відповідне рішення проголосували 86 депутатів зі 106 зареєстрованих в залі, пише УНІАН.

Повідомляється, що до комуністичної символіки, яка підлягає демонтажу, належать будь-які зображення головної державної емблеми колишнього Радянського союзу - серп і молот, а також будь-які зображення Володимира Леніна.

Департаменту комунальної власності виконавчого органу Київради (КМДА) доручено до 28 червня 2015 р. скласти перелік будівель та споруд комунальної власності, балансоутримувачам зазначених будівель та споруд, доручено виконати заходи з демонтажу комуністичної символіки до 24 серпня 2015 року.

До 31 березня 2016 року доручено встановити замість демонтованих символів комунізму державну символіку України.
