Он очень хорошо отзивался, как он сам виразился, о "будущем Президенте США" Хилари Клинтон. Поего словам: "Хиллари Клинтон не просто представляет американский политический истеблишмент, она и есть концентрированный истеблишмент"

Зато крайне негатывно высказался о кандадидате от Республиканской партии США Дональде Трампе. Линколь Митчел назвал его "главной угрозой нацбезопасности США". "Никто в Вашингтоне до конца не знает, какой будет политика Трампа по любому вопросу. Может, он даже захочет выйти из НАТО" - заявид Линколь Митчелл
