Колишній кандидат на пост президента США від Демократичної партії Хілларі Клінтон підтримала протести по всій країні проти обмеження на в'їзд до країни біженців і мігрантів, запровадженого президентом США Дональдом Трампом.

Про це вона написала на своїй сторінці в Twitter.

"Я стою на боці народу, який зібрався сьогодні по всій країні, захищаючи наші цінності і нашу конституцію. Це не те, ким ми є", — йдеться в повідомленні.

Раніше повідомлялося, що прем'єр-міністр Великої Британії Тереза Мей заявила, що вона не згодна з імміграційною політикою Трампа.

27 січня президент США Дональд Трамп призупинив дію програми з прийому біженців і на місяць заборонив видавати американські візи громадянам Ірану, Іраку, Лівії, Сомалі, Судану та Ємену. Заборона на в'їзд поширюється також на власників грін-карт, що дають право на проживання в США.

У свою чергу, міністерство закордонних справ Ірану заявило, що введе заборону на в'їзд для американських громадян у відповідь на обмеження поїздок громадян семи країн у США.
