Кандидат у президенти США від Демократичної партії Хіларі Клінтон виступила з промовою проти свого суперника, кандидата від республіканців Дональда Трампа, передає Кореспондент з посиланням на The Washington Post.

У ході виступу Клінтон звинуватила Трампа в розв'язанні рук Кремлю і назвала Путіна "хрещеним батьком крайнього націоналізму".

Виступаючи перед своїми прихильниками в місті Ріно, штат Невада, Клінтон заявила про ідеологічну близькість Трампа, колишнього лідера британської Партії незалежності Найджела Фаража і президента Росії Володимира Путіна.

Вона заявила, що опора Трампа на маргінальні групи, які "відкидають традиційні американські цінності, - це частина ширшої історії, зростаючої хвилі радикального націоналізму з правими поглядами у всьому світі".

"Він (Трамп - ред.) продовжує принижувати наших союзників з НАТО, визнаючи російську анексію Криму і розв'язуючи Кремлю руки в Східній Європі. Великий хрещений батько цього глобального бренду, цього крайнього націоналізму - президент Росії Володимир Путін", - заявила Клінтон.

Вона зазначила, що Трамп "засипає Путіна похвалами і просуває проросійську політику".
