Гілларі Клінтон виступила з різкою критикою свого основного суперника на виборах в президенти США Дональда Трампа, який, на її думку, "збанкротить Америку".

Клінтон продовжила іронізувати над Трампом, натякаючи на те, що він нездатний керувати економікою.

"Він написав безліч книг по бізнесу, але всі вони закінчуються на 11-ій главі", - сказала вона, натякаючи на 11-й розділ закону про банкрутство США. Також Клінтон дорікнула Трампа у зв'язках з Уолл-Стріт і в тому, що він хоче захистити інтереси фінансової еліти США за рахунок простих платників податків.

Раніше звинувачення у зв'язках з Уолл-Стріт звучали головним чином на адресу самої Клінтон, - з вуст її суперника з демократичних праймеріз Берні Сандерса, а також самого Дональда Трампа.

Дональд Трамп відреагував на виступ суперниці в соцмережах. В одному зі своїх твітів він назвав себе "королем боргу" і запевнив, що його бізнес-досвід допоможе скоротити зовнішній борг США, а в другому - нагадав Клінтон про те, що на їїї домашньому комп'ютері зберігалася секретна переписка.
