Клинтон победила на праймериз в округе Колумбия, получив 79% голосов против 21% у ее соперника Берни Сандерса.

Экс-госсекретарь, уже собравшая необходимое для выдвижения кандидатом в президенты от Демократической партии США количество делегатов, планирует в частном порядке встретиться с Сандерсом для определения общих позиций в борьбе против Трампа. В свою очередь, Сандерс планирует сосредоточиться на продвижении своих програмных пунктов.

Как сообщалось, Клинтон в борьбе за пост президента США поддержал действующий президент Барак Обама.
