З 12 січня щоденна газета "Комсомольская правда", яка виходить в Україні, змінює назву на "КП", повідомили на сайті видання.

У повідомленні пояснюється, що таким чином газета виконує закон про засудження злочинів комуністичного та нацистського режимів і заборону пропаганди їхньої символіки.

"Міністерство юстиції не хоче враховувати той факт, що українська версія газети, яка існує 19 років, ніколи не була "рупором ВЛКСМ", - йдеться у заяві.

У газеті поскаржились, що вона виходить з такою назвою у 50 країнах світу, у тому числі і тих, які пройшли декомунізацію.

"І лише в Україні закон змусив газету з 90-літньою історію змінити назву", - заявила редактор газети Оксана Богданова.

У газеті заявили, що в редакційній політиці та форматі виходу нічого не зміниться
