В воскресенье стартовали выборы в Государственную думу России, в генеральном консульстве РФ в Харькове открылся избирательный участок. Здание охраняют 500 полицейских и 200 бойцов Национальной гвардии.

В городе на улице Максимилиановской (бывш.Ольминского), где расположено здание российского консульства, и прилегающих к нему улицах предприняты повышенные меры безопасности, передает Новое время

Кроме того, для предотвращения провокаций привлекли кинологов с собаками.

Желающих проголосовать проверяют ручным металлоискателем. Чтобы зайти внутрь, необходимо предъявить паспорт, который передают сотрудникам консульства через зарешеченную дверь. После изучения документа, человека пускают внутрь.

Напомним, 18 сентября в России проходят выборы в Госдуму.

Накануне около 20 активистов пикетировали консульство РФ в Харькове из-за намерений Москвы провести выборы в оккупированном Крыму. Участники пикета принесли гроб к зданию на Максимилиановской, обошлось без провокаций.

В ночь на 17 сентября в Киеве около 20 неизвестных забросали файерами и петардами посольство РФ.
