«За час роботи ВР VIII скликання депутати 12 разів вносили змін в Закон «Про соціальний і правовий захист військовослужбовців та членів їх сімей». Іще 10 разів – в Закон «Про статус ветеранів війни, гарантії їх соціального захисту» – про це заявив в ІА «УНІАН» генеральний директор Комітету виборців України Олексій Кошель під час презентації звіту КВУ: «Як фракції Верховної Ради VIII скликання виконують обіцянки в частині соціальної політики».

«Така велика кількість внесених змін свідчить про низьку якість роботи депутатського корпусу. Замість того, щоб прийняти один або кілька якісних законопроектів, парламентарі влаштували своєрідний законодавчий марафон, змагаючись за статус головного захисника учасників АТО. Кожна фракція, в тому числі, «Опозиційний блок» зареєструвала бодай одн законопроект на цю тематику. Загалом було зареєстровано 34 відповідні законопроекти». – підкреслив Олексій Кошель.

«Проте кількість законопроектів і прийнятих законів не свідчить про їх якість. Більшість із них є точковими і спрямовані на вирішення однієї проблеми. До прикладу, закон №548 звільняє учасників АТО від сплати військового збору, закон №670 – від сплати судового збору. При цьому обидва проекти зареєстрували депутати Радикальної партії Олега Ляшка» -– додав Кошель.

Схожа ситуація і щодо інших законопроектів. За два роки роботи депутати ВР VIII скликання зареєстрували найбільше законопроектів у порівнянні із попередніми скликаннями ВР. Їх станом на 10 жовтня 2016 року – 4 422.
