Как сообщается, финансирование окологосударственных институтов, которые являются инструментами влияния Кремля за рубежом, будет снижаться ближайшие три года.

Так, в частности, если НКО Российский совет по международным делам в 2014 году получил бюджетных субсидий на 100,42 млн рублей (около $1,6 млн), то в 2017 уже лишь 81,41 млн, а в 2019 выплаты должны составить 79,04 млн.

Уменьшилась финансирование и Фонда поддержки публичной дипломатии имени А. Горчакова, созданного во время президентства Дмитрия Медведева для "анализа экономического и общественно-политического положения" и поддержки русскоязычных СМИ за рубежом (2014 - 55,05 млн рублей, 2019 - 52,59 млн).

Таким образом, субсидии Фонду Горчакова и РСМД в совокупности сократились на 8% по сравнению с 2014-2016 годами.
