Кримськотатарський телеканал ATR закінчив своє мовлення у вівторок, 31 березня. Керівництво мовника запевнило телеглядачів, що намагатиметься зареєструвати телеканал і продовжити мовлення.

В останню годину мовлення заступник генерального директора ATR Ліля Буджурова зазначила, що рішення про закриття «вдарило не по телеканалу, а по всьому народові».

«Ми й не таке переживали. Наш народ пережив Сталіна. Невже не переживе нинішні проблеми? Переживе. І виживе. І далі будуватиме свій дім на своїй землі. Так, ми сьогодні припиняємо своє мовлення, але ми знаємо, що повернемося», – наводить слова Буджурової сайт Радіо Свобода «Крим. Реалії».

Телеканал ATR кілька разів подавав документи для перереєстрації в наглядовий орган окупаційної влади «Роскомнадзор», але їх повертали назад з різних причин. Аналогічні проблеми мають інші ЗМІ, що входять до медіа-холдингу ATR – дитячий кримськотатарський телеканал Lale, FM-радіостанції «Мейдан» і «Лідер», а також інтернет-видання «15 хвилин».
