Новый крымско-татарский телеканал "Миллет" начинает 1 апреля спутниковое вещание. Как сообщил ТАСС гендиректор телерадиокомпании Сейран Мамбетов, он будет доступен не только россиянам, но также жителям Украины, Турции и Средней Азии.

"Выходим сегодня около 14:00 мск на спутник "Ямал 401", который покрывает большую часть России, Украину, Турцию и Среднюю Азию", - сказал собеседник агентства. По его словам, сигнал будет опробован на сюжете из Джанкоя, где вице-премьер республики Руслан Бальбек посетит небогатую крымско-татарскую семью, которая пока не смотрит канал.

"Миллет" вышел в эфир в тестовом режиме в сентябре 2015 года. Сейчас 70% вещания ведется на крымско-татарском языке, однако, по словам гендиректора, задача - выйти на коэффициент "50 на 50" с 60% собственного контента. "У нас многонациональный коллектив, у меня зам - украинка, главный режиссер - русский, еще один замгенерального - осетин. Мы набираем в первую очередь по профессиональным качествам, многие работники пришли с телеканала АТР (Ислямова). Что касается знания крымско-татарского, то есть проекты, где владение языком обязательно", - рассказал гендиректор.
