Екс-глава Мінфіну РФ, глава "Комітету громадських ініціатив" Олексій Кудрін, виступаючи в рамках Петербурзького міжнародного економічного форуму, запропонував провести в Росії дострокові президентські вибори.

Кудрін навів у приклад президента Казахстану Нурсултана Назарбаєва, якому дострокові вибори дозволили швидше приступити до виконання програми "100 конкретних кроків" щодо реалізації реформ,пише РБК

Він також заявив, що якщо в Росії обговорюється можливість наближення парламентських виборів, то можна подумати і про перенесення президентських.

Водночас, прес-секретар Президента Російської Федерації Дмитро Пєсков відмовився прокоментувати пропозицію екс-міністра фінансів Олексія Кудріна щодо проведення дострокових президентських виборів. Пєсков повідомив, що йому невідомо, чи обговорював Кудрін дане питання з Путіним.
