За даними видання, призначення 35-річного чоловіка дочки Трампа Іванки старшим або спеціальним радником просувають майбутній глава апарату президента Райнс Прібус і його радник Стівен Беннон. 

Дж.Кушнер, власник заснованої його батьком девелоперської компанії і газети New York Observer, брав активну участь у виборчій кампанії Трампа і на думку експертів, разом з дружиною зіграв в ній ключову роль на останніх етапах.

Поки неясно, чи поширюється федеральний закон про заборону приймати на службу родичів, на роботу в Білому домі. Проте, зять майбутнього президента дав зрозуміти, що обійде цю перешкоду, відмовившись від зарплати.

Однак йому також доведеться істотно перебудувати бізнес і тимчасово відмовитися від отримання доходів від вкладень в нерухомість і медійні активи.

Крім того, Дж.Кушнеру з дружиною і дітьми доведеться перебратися з Нью-Йорка до Вашингтона.

Дж.Кушнер і Іванка Трамп одружилися в 2009 році, весілля пройшло за традиціями іудаїзму. Пара виховує трьох дітей.
