Як повідомляє Media Sapiens із посиланням на видання Daily Mail, телеглядачі скаржилися на зовнішній вигляд ведучої в Twitter, й назвали її сукню невідповідною традиціям священного місяця Рамадан. За інформацією медіа, вказівка звільнити пані Аль-Аваді надійшла від високопоставленого чиновника Кувейту.

29-річна Амаль Аль-Аваді вважає, що її вбрання відповідало вимогам щодо зовнішнього вигляду під час Рамадану. 

Телеведуча, яка також знімається в кіно, була вдягнена в білу мереживну сукню довжиною до колін.

«Оскільки моя програма транслювалася під час Рамадану, я була надзвичайно обережною щодо дотримання всіх наших традицій, я ретельно обирала, що вдягнути та як говорити», – зазначила Амаль Аль-Аваді.

Вона також повідомила, що їй офіційно не повідомили причину звільнення з посади телеведучої.
