Журналіст Матвій Ганапольський отримав українське громадянство. Про це повідомив глава Адміністрації президента Борис Ложкін у Facebook.

"В кінці робочого дня поспілкувався з Матвієм Ганапольським. Привітав його з отриманням українського паспорта. Обмінялися думками про розвиток українських ЗМІ", - написав Ложкін.

Матвій Ганапольський родом зі Львова, але більшу частину життя прожив у Росії.

З 1991 року працював ведучим на радіостанції Эхо Москвы, грузинському телеканалі ПІК, кримськотатарському телеканалі ATR.

З вересня 2015 року працював на українському телеканалі NewsOne. Також він працював на Радіо Вести з моменту відкриття радіостанції в березні 2014 року. З березня 2016 року працює на Радіо-Ера.
