Мэр Риги Нил Ушаков на своей странице в Facebook призвал россиян обменяться с Латвией голосами на "Евровидении".

"Дорогие мои подписчики из России! У меня к вам одновременно и дружеское, и деловое предложение. Сегодня проходит финал конкурса "Евровидение". Мы в Риге дружно голосуем за Сергея Лазарева. А вы в России так же дружно голосуете за нашего Юстса. Он выступает под 20-м номером. Меняем 12 баллов на 12 баллов! Это предложение относится и к многоуважаемому жюри из России", – сказал Ушаков.

Финал "Евровидения 2016" проходит в эти минуты. По оценкам букмекеров от 13 мая россиянин Сергей Лазарев является фаворитом конкурса. Представительница Украины Джамала, по их мнению, займет третье место.

В этом году организаторы поменяли правила подсчета и объявления баллов. Если в предыдущие годы итоги зрительского голосования и оценки жюри представлялись как единый результат, то теперь они будут объявляться раздельно.

Сначала глашатаи из всех участвующих стран объявят только 12 баллов от жюри (баллы от 1 до 10 будут показаны на экране). После этого будут подсчитаны голоса телезрителей. Эти голоса будут объявлены уже ведущими конкурса, начиная со страны, которая получила наименьшее количество баллов и заканчивая страной с наивысшим количеством баллов. Страны, занявшие с 11 по 26 место, будут отображены на инфографике. Ведущие объявят баллы стран, которые заняли с 10 по 1 место. Таким образом победитель конкурса станет известен только после окончания объявления голосов.

Первый полуфинал "Евровидения" состоялся 10 мая, второй, в котором участвовала и Джамала, – 12 мая.
