Местные выборы в Мариуполе (Донецкая область) должны состояться.

Об этом заявил президент Украины на встрече с жителями города, которые проводили пикет против демилитаризации Широкино и Мариуполя в Киеве, передает издания "Новости Донбасса".

"Сегодня мы приняли решение, что выборы в Мариуполе пройдут", - сказал глава государства.

Также митингующие обратились к президенту с просьбой не проводить демилитаризацию поселка Широкино и Мариуполя, в ответ Порошенко заявил, что украинские войска не отдадут эти земли боевикам.

Напомним, что сегодня Верховная Рада поддержала проведение местных выборов 25 октября.
