Экзит-поллы пророчили партии премьера Евы Копач поражение, но в результате "Гражданская платформа" одержала победу в восьми местных советах.

Либерально-консервативная партия "Гражданская платформа", лидером которой является премьер-министр страны Ева Копач, одержала победу в восьми из 16 регионов страны на выборах в местные органы власти.

Объявление результатов волеизъявления 16 ноября задержалось на шесть дней из-за неисправности компьютерной системы, что стало причиной отставки главы избирательной комиссии Польши, о чем было объявлено утром в воскресенье, 23 ноября.

Выборы показали, что партия Евы Копач получила контроль во всех восьми местных советах на западе Польши несмотря результаты экзит-поллов, которые пророчили этой партии поражение.

Между тем оппозиционная партия "Право и справедливость" на этих выборах одержала свою первую победу за семь лет. Она победила в шести из восьми местных советах на востоке Польши.

Таким образом "Гражданская платформа" получила 179 мест в местных органах власти, а "Право и справедливость" - 169.

"Польская народная партия", которая является партнером по коалиции "Гражданской платформы" получила на выборах 159 мест в местных органах власти.

Ева Копач стала премьер-министром в сентябре, сменив на этом посту Дональда Туска, который был избран президентом Европейского совета вместо Хермана Ван Ромпея.
