Крім кота прем’єр-міністра Ларрі, який мешкає в офісі глави уряду з 2011 року, і кота Палмерстоуна, який раніше цього року почав «працювати» в МЗС, Мінфін «призначив» головним мишоловом 18-місячного Гледстоуна.

Гледстоун – у минулому бездомний кіт, був взятий із притулку для тварин.

Чорний кіт прибув у свій новий дім ще в кінці червня, але через Brexit презентація головного мишолова мінфіну була відкладена. За словами співробітників, миші – давня проблема, але останнім часом гризуни осміліли і почали з'являтися в офісах навіть вдень.

Як повідомлялося, у квітні цього року МЗС Британії взяло на роботу бездомного кота Палмерстоуна.

Нагадаємо, після відставки Девіда Кемерона постало питання про долю кота Ларрі, що мешкав в офісі прем’єра з 2011 року. Однак кота вирішили залишити.

«Цей кіт перебуває на державній службі і не належить Кемеронам – він залишиться», – сказала речниця уряду.

Варто зазначити, що Ларрі і Палмерстоун між собою не ладять і ЗМІ нещодавно повідомляли про їх бійку.
