Зростаючу небезпеку для економіки представляє кіберзлочинність, і боротьба з нею повинна мати пріоритетний характер.

Про це було заявлено в суботу, 13 травня, на зустрічі міністрів фінансів країн G7 в італійському місті Барі, передає "Укрінформ".

Як підкреслив після закінчення зустрічі глава фінансового відомства Італії П'єр Карло Падоан, на ній досягнуто "домовленості з багатьох питань, в тому числі про те, щоб вести боротьбу з кіберзлочинністю, що, на жаль, вельми актуально зараз".

За його словами, в даний час експертам, що спеціалізуються на темі кіберзлочинності, доручено проаналізувати ситуацію, що складається і зробити висновки про можливі загрози. Результати цієї роботи будуть оцінюватися на саміті глав держав і урядів країн "великої сімки" в червні 2017 року.

Як відомо, 12 травня десятки тисяч комп'ютерів по всьому світу були заражені вірусом WannaCry. Вірус також атакував комп'ютери в Україні та Росії. Зокрема, в РФ були заражені комп'ютери Слідчого комітету і МВС, а також оператора мобільного зв'язку Мегафон. У Великобританії вийшли з ладу комп'ютерні системи в багатьох лікарнях.

"Лабораторія Касперського" стверджує, що жертвами WannaCry стали як мінімум 45 тисяч користувачів з 74 країн. При цьому більше 70 відсотків заражених комп'ютерів розміщено в Росії.
