Російська Федерація займається розробкою нової системи для дезорієнтації системи геолокації GPS, інформує Укрінформ.

Відповідну інформацію поширили західні ЗМІ, посилаючись на звітність супутникової навігації в Чорному морі. Зазначається, що така система може слугувати першим натяком на те, що Москва готує нову форму електронної війни. Видання повідомляють, що черговим підтвердженням цього є інцидент, який трапився в кінці червня, коли представники Морської адміністрації США заявили про некоректні дані GPS, який помилився на 32 кілометри, вказавши, що корабель, який знаходився біля Новоросійська, нібито перебуває в аеропорту Геленджик. Згодом капітан корабля зв’язався з найближчими кораблями і пересвідчився у справності роботи навігаційного устаткування. Хоча інцидент не було остаточно підтверджено, експерти допускають, що цю ситуацію можна вважати першим задокументованим випадком дезорієнтації GPS.

Фахівці вважають, що така нова форма кібервійни розроблена з міркувань безпеки, бо самонавідні бомби НАТО, ракети та дрони користуються саме GPS.
