Компания Mozilla, которая является создателем веб-браузера Mozilla Firefox, учредила конкурс Reality Redrawn Challenge с общим призовым фондом в размере $40 тыс. Участникам она предлагает нарисовать концепцию борьбы с фейками, пишет Телекритика
"Границы между правдой и вымыслом все труднее определить, отчасти из-за распространения поддельных новостей и других форм дезинформации. Mozilla хочет пролить свет на это, спонсируя публичные демонстрации с использованием смешанной реальности и других художественных СМИ", – объясняют в компании.
Участвовать в конкурсе могут художники традиционных, цифровых и смешанных медиа с любых стран, заполнив для этого специальную форму. Заявки будут приниматься до 3 января, а победителей объявят после 15 января.
Победитель получит $15 тыс., еще двум участникам достанется по $7,5 тыс., еще двум – по $5 тыс. После объявления победителей у них будет три месяца для завершения своих работ.
"Я очень рада видеть, как художники реагируют на кризис правды, который заражает все больше и больше людей в интернете", – отмечает главный новатор Mozilla Катарина Борхерт.
Напомним, ранее Еврокомиссия призвала журналистов принять участие в разработке стратегии борьбы с фейковыми новостями и дезинформацией.
