МЗС України висловлює рішучий протест у зв'язку з тим, що Кремль намагається організувати передвиборчу кампанію в анексованих Криму і Севастополі. Про це йдеться в заяві українського МЗС.

"Чергова спроба держави-окупанта поширити своє національне законодавство на територію суверенної України є грубим порушенням норм міжнародного права і законодавства України. Україна не визнає будь-які інші "виборчі процеси", які Кремль проводить на тимчасово окупованій території, і вважає їх нікчемними за своєю суттю та змістом", - наголошується в заяві.

МЗС також закликав всі держави, міжнародні організації та спеціалізовані установи не визнавати будь-які передвиборні процеси в Криму.

Крім того, в МЗС закликали "посилити тиск на Росію з метою припинення нею агресії проти України та початку процесу деокупації Автономної Республіки Крим і міста Севастополь".
