15 березня, за три дні до президентських виборів у РФ, телеканал "Настоящее время" продемонструє фільм про прихід до влади Володимира Путіна. Як повідомляє PRпортал, відеоанонс матеріалу розміщено на YouTube телеканала.

Повідомляють, що у фільмі продемонструють "унікальну кінохроніку", зняту режисером Віталієм Манським 26 березня 2000 року, у день першої перемоги Путіна на президентських виборах. Манський заявляє: "У 2018-му вже немає Путіна. Це вже не людина, так би мовити, із плоті й крові. Це якийсь дракон". Режисер висловив надію, що після перегляду фільму 18-річні росіяни зможуть "змінити парадигму цього абсолютно безпросвітного російського сьогодення".

Президентські вибори у РФ пройдуть 18 березня 2018 року, за цю посаду боротиметься восьмеро осіб: Путін, Сергій Бабурін ("Российский общенародный союз"), Павло Грудінін (КПРФ), Володимир Жириновський (ЛДПР), Ксенія Собчак ("Гражданская инициатива"), Максим Сурайкін ("Коммунисты России"), Борис Титов ("Партия роста"), Григорій Явлінський ("Яблоко").
