На парламентських виборах у Чехії, які пройшли протягом 8—9 жовтня, за попередніми результатами, перемагає правоцентристська опозиційна коаліція SPOLU, випереджаючи політсилу прем'єр-міністра країни Андрея Бабіша, пише Reuters.

Після підрахунку голосів майже з усіх виборчих округів результати такі:

  • опозиційний блок із трьох партій  SPOLU — 27,74%;
  • партія Бабіша ANO — 27,17%;
  • блок Піратська партія та партія мерів Stan — 15,57%;
  • євроскептична права партія SPD — 9,57%.

Також уперше з часів Другої світової війни до парламенту Чехії не потрапляє Комуністична партія Чехії та Моравії (KSČM) — вона не подолала п’ятивідсотковий бар'єр, набравши 4,69%.

Лідери двох опозиційних коаліцій вже заявили, що вестимуть переговори щодо формування нового уряду без Андрея Бабіша. У них може вистачити місць у парламенті, щоб сформувати уряд більшості. Співпрацювати з Бабішем коаліція відмовляється. Найбільш імовірний претендент на посаду прем'єр-міністра Чехії — лідер Громадянської демократичної партії(ODS) Петр Фіала. 

Під час виборчої кампанії 67-річного Бабіша критикували через те, що він погано справлявся з наслідками пандемії коронавірусу і здебільшого дбав про власні бізнес-інтереси. Прем'єр усі звинувачення на свою адресу відкидає. Останній зі скандалів розпочався за кілька днів до виборів після публікації розслідування журналістів Pandora Papers.
