Во второй тур президентских выборов в Австрии вышел представитель правопопулистской Австрийской партии свободы Норберт Хофер, свидетельствуют предварительные итоги голосования.

Как передает Deutsche Welle, Норберт Хофер лидирует с результатом 36,7%. Борьбу за второе место ведут бывший лидер "зеленых" Александр Ван дер Беллен и независимая кандидат Ирмгард Грисс, которые набрали 19,7% и 18,8% соответственно

Сообщается, что впервые за послевоенное время во второй тур голосования не прошли кандидаты от политических сил, входящих в правящую коалицию - Социал-демократической партии Австрии и консервативной Австрийской народной партии.

Второй тур президентских выборов в Австрии запланирован на 22 мая.
