Лидер Ирана Хасан Рухами с большим отрывом лидирует при подсчете голосов на президентских выборах, которые прошли 19 мая.

Как сообщает Reuters, после подсчета 37 миллионов бюллетеней за Рухани проголосовали около 21,6 миллиона жителей Ирана, а за его основного соперника Эбрагима Раиси — около 14 миллионов.

О лидерстве Рухани на выборах также сообщило МВД Ирана. В ведомстве рассказали о 25 миллионах обработанных бюллетеней, из которых 14,6 миллиона отданы за действующего президента.

Хасан Рухани считается умеренным кандидатом. Как ожидается, его победа на выборах означает продолжение курса на нормализацию отношений с Западом. На посту президента Рухани уже добился снятия значительной части международных санкций против Ирана.
