Прокуратура Манхэттена проводит расследование о возможном отмывании денег в отношении экс-главы предвыборного штаба президента США Дональда Трампа Пола Манафорта. Об этом сообщает Сегодня со ссилкой на Wall Street Journal.

Также известно, что это расследование будет вестись совместно с расследованием спецпрокурора США Роберта Мюллера. Мюллер ведет разбирательство по поводу приписываемого России вмешательства в выборы США.

Ранне уже сообщалось о том, что у генеральной прокуратуры США и у команды Мюллера есть данные о финансовых махинациях Манафорта.

В отношении Манафорта в данный момент уже проводится государственное и федеральное расследования. Однако решение о предъявлении конкретных обвинений еще не было принято.

Ранее уже сообщалось, что бывший глава предвыборного штаба американского президента Дональда Трампа давал показания в комитете по разведке Сената США.

Также недавно министерство юстиции Соединенных Штатов требовало от юридической фирмы, с которой сотрудничал бывший руководитель предвыборного штаба Трампа, информацию и документы о работе в пользу команды бывшего президента Украины Виктора Януковича.
