Україна офіційно запропонувала НАТО створити трастовий фонд, задачею якого буде протидія російській пропаганді на українській території.

Про це повідомив міністр закордонних справ України Павло Клімкін у спілкуванні з журналістами у місті Белек (Туреччина), де відбулося засідання комісії Україна-НАТО, повідомляє "Європейська правда".

Клімкін підтвердив, що він виступив з такою пропозицією під час спільного засідання.

"Я запропонував створити трастовий фонд, який буде спрямований на протидію російській пропаганді", - заявив він, не уточнивши, коли саме може бути створено такий фонд.

"В НАТО є підтримка цієї ідеї, але звичайно ж союзники хочуть обговорити це з іншими міжнародними організаціями, включаючи ЄС. Євросоюз зараз готує схожу програму і важливо, щоби зусилля сторін доповнювалися, а не перетиналися", - переповів зміст переговорів міністр, на прохання "ЄП".

Як відомо, трастові фонди НАТО створюються для надання Україні цільової безповоротної допомоги.
