НАТО не відповідатиме на російську пропаганду пропагандою.

Про це заявив генсек НАТО Єнс Столтенберг на прес-конференції в Брюсселі за результатами першого дня зустрічі глав МЗС країн Альянсу, повідомляє кореспондент Європейської правди.

"Ми бачили повідомлення про збільшення активності Росії на Західних Балканах. Ми чули про участь громадян РФ у серйозних діях під час виборів у Чорногорії" - сказав він, висловивши сподівання на належне розслідування цих подій.

"Ми не відповідатимемо пропагандою на пропаганду і сподіваємося, що факти восторжествують" - зазначив генсек.

"Ми віримо  у відкрите демократичне суспільство у Чорногорії і в те, що реформи збільшать опірність і виносливість країни, і вона сама буде здатна захистити себе від втручання ззовні" - підкреслив Столтенберг.

Він при цьому нагадав, що вже 15 країн НАТО ратифікували приєднання Чорногорії до альянсу.

За його словами, вступ Чорногорії до НАТО і реформи, які вона для цього проводить, збільшать стабільність на Балканах, а відтак і стабільність цілої Європи.
