Російський опозиційний лідер Олексій Навальний заявив, що органи влади Санкт-Петербурга неодноразово відмовили йому в наданні в центрі міста місця зустрічі з прихильниками 7 жовтня, пише Главком

На своєму сайті 27 вересня Навальний повідомив, що влада запропонувала йому організувати захід на околиці міста, що, на думку політика, не підходить для потенційно численного зібрання.

Представник влади Санкт-Петербурга Андрій Краснов сказав московській радіостанції «Ехо Москви», що прихильники Навального є «провокаторами» і не повинні отримати майданчик у центрі міста.

Навальний вказав, що планує ще раз подати заявку на зустріч на Марсовому полі. Якщо і цей запит буде відхилений, то він проведе «мирну процесію» на центральній, Двірцевій площі Санкт-Петербурга.

Як відомо, Навальний планує брати участь у виборах президента РФ в 2018 році, хоча російська влада незмінно заявляє, що він не може бути допущений до участі в кампанії. Опозиціонер проводить агітаційний тур по Росії. Навальний уже зустрівся з жителями Єкатеринбурга, Мурманська, Омська, Новосибірська та інших міст Росії. У мітингах брали участь тисячі людей.
