Фігурантами справ про шпигунство в Німеччині найчастіше стають громадяни Росії.

Про це повідомила газета Mitteldeutsche Zeitung з посиланням на відповідь міністерства внутрішніх справ Німеччини на запит фракції Лівих у Бундестазі, передає Європейська правда

Всього за останні 10 років у Німеччині було порушено 123 справи про шпигунство, 27 з них - щодо громадян Росії, 22 - Ірану, по 15 - у відношенні турків і китайців. США за цим показником посідають шосте місце, слідуючи за Сирією.

Фігурантами справ за статтями, пов'язаними зі шпигунством, у ФРН ставали 8 сирійців і 7 громадян Сполучених Штатів. Зараз у Німеччині ведеться 8 справ стосовно іноземних шпигунів.

З 2007 року у зв'язку зі шпигунством всього 4 агента з Сирії були оголошені персонами нон грата в Німеччині.
